Chapter VII - Conclusions about trials and defence court

The several verdicts’ conclusion was "foregone", thinking about the facts, the events’ coherence had a precise purpose : to find a scapegoat, a guilty person to hide precise faults and responsibilities. And let’s not forget that a judge and a policeman have been denounced for ideological falsehood and forgeries. The defence of the "caste" weighted the demagogy of the power in any existing act, and the fury against me prosecuted in other proceeding phases. The proceeding was concluded in the same way it had been planned : nothing would have changed the planned result. At the beginning my defence side was consisted of lawyer Patricia Cohen, who had cooperated for a long time with my Cabinet, with lawyer Piero Piano in Genoa, who also cooperated with the Cabinet, then lawyer Maurizio Mascia, in Genoa, who was also a dear friend. To give importance and coordination to the defence, I appointed lawyer Patricia Rey in Monaco, but I met her just once, then, without knowing why, she left my defence. According to recommendation of dear friends of mine, and considering the development of the facts, lawyer Michel Cardix of Nice had been appointed, a well- known professional, a charismatic person, but unfortunately his attendance for me was too much evanescent if we consider the urgent need to intervene with resolution. A first change had been made, lawyer José Maria Bertozzi in Nice had been appointed; he had been introduced to us by dear friends, Marco Capitini and Patrizia Rossino, revoking the task of lawyer Michel Cardix. At this point my lawyers were : Cohen, Piano, Mascia and Bertozzi ; but something clashed, a conflict among them was tangible and there was no coordination for the several proceedings. After long consideration I discarded the lawyer , for obvious great professional contrasts; when lawyer Piano’s shabbiness and mistakes emerged, I revoked his task. The most important part of the case was defended by lawyer Bertozzi , who unfortunately remained powerless in front of such proceeding mistakes. It was a real fight about the inquisitive illegal method used. During the final phase I appointed lawyer Guido Felici in San Remo, to take care of the civil party and at the same time to support the penal one. In collaboration with lawyer Bertozzi the several hearings had been faced up to the definitive indictment, fighting against all mystifications which emerged from examination of the facts, giving us the certainty that everything was perfectly planned. It was obvious because the « French » justice rules in the Principality had placed me under detention, to look for the most various proof, with the purpose of preparing a judgement which was outside any juridical logic. During the hearings only lawyer Bertozzi could speak. Lawyer Felici asked to speak but he couldn’t, they were local proceedings which restricted the right to defence.
I would like to draw the attention to criminal lawyers, who don’t understand the deep need to obtain news, to be obliged to wait for long time, where everything is denied, when only two hours air during the day are allowed , the opening of cells is very reduced, even socializing with the other prisoners is reduced,  conversation conditions  are inhuman , like the notorious 41bis, with the continuous sense of hunger and without one’s identity. Those conversation moments are the hope which keeps alive those who believe in something : « justice » !
