Court of Appeal The Principality of Monaco

 Statement in defence of

Francesco IAGHER

Against the verdict pronounced on

9th July 2002

9th September 2002

N.d.A.

This defensive account, lodged at the Court of Appeal, was printed in 200 copies , and sent to the French and Italian institutions, and to those journalists who had “ embroidered” the story.

In particular way the copies were sent to the Italian journalists who had interest for the “ Buttiglione/Catone” matter rather than a judicial farce which was on progress against an Italian citizen, and  to let to clients, professionals and friends know the truth.

An exhaustive account, complete with proof, but Judge Landwerlin didn’t consider it and furthermore supported  Tiberti’s declared falsehood, accepted the presence of the witnesses in the Court Room, modified “ motu proprio “ charges justifying his behaviour saying that he had to move quickly to Paris. It was really a planned farce.
